UFC Fight Night 195 play-by-play and live results

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 195 event, and you can join us for live play-by-play and official results beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. PT).

UFC Fight Night 195 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+.

In the main event, Aspen Ladd (9-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) moves up to featherweight two weeks after a weight-cutting issue at bantamweight to take on Norma Dumont (6-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC). Ladd is a -140 favorite at Tipico.

Ariane Carnelossi vs. Istela Nunes

Round 1 – Glove touch and no waste of time with big punches coming from both sides. Carnelossi walking forward, but the taller Nunes retreating and landing stiff counters right down the middle. Brief clinch, but Nunes pulls away, and the striking resumes. Carnelossi moves inside for the takedown, and Nunes is warned for grabbing the fence as she tries to stay upright. Carnelossi gets the takedown, but Nunes pops right back to her feet and battles to the center. Carnelossi again very aggressive, walking forward and striking. Nunes with a nice kick to the body before Carnelossi punches her way into a clinch again. Nunes battling well against the cage. Pace has been nuts, and we still have two minutes left. Short elbow inside from Carnelossi. Knees traded, but Carnelossi is keeping the action pinned to the cage. Nunes finally slips away with a minute left. Carnelossi ducking her head and firing punches. Nunes mixing in a few kicks as she retreats and counters. Carnelossi throwing everything at full power. They trade right until the bell, and maybe a little after. MMA Junkie gives the first to Carnelossi, 10-9.

Round 2 – More of the same to start the second. Carnelossi very aggressive with her punches, and she moves forward and gets inside for the takedown. She drags Nunes to her knees but can’t get it any further. Nunes back to her feet, but she’s against the cage. Carnelossi keeping the clinch, and knees are traded inside. Nunes controls the head, but Carnelossi switches to a single and drags it to the floor. Nunes doesn’t have the neck, so she works back to her feet. Still, she’s trapped against the fence. Dirty boxing inside from both women. Nunes finally slips away and fires a knee as she moves to the center. Less than two minutes left. Carnelossi the aggressor. Nunes with stiff punches and big kicks. Carnelossi walking her down, and Nunes does slip away. She’s got to move laterally. Carnelossi pushes her to the fence, and once again she’s secured the takedown. Carnelossi steps over the legs. Nunes seated against the fence, but her legs are trapped. Carnelossi slides up a bit. Nunes turns to her knees and stands at the bell. MMA Junkie gives it again to Carnelossi, 10-9.

Round 3 – Nunes with a stiff right hand to open the third. Carnelossi not quite as hyper aggressive here, though she’s still inching forward. Nunes with a few front kicks to the body. She fires off big punches that Carnelossi slips. Nunes kicks the legs. Carnelossi stalking and digs to the body. Nunes kicks the leg. Elbow over the top. This time she slides away from the cage. Needed to be doing this from the start. Carnelossi rushes inside and changes levels. She drags the fight to the floor once again. Referee Keith Peterson pulls Nunes’ hand off the fence. Carnelossi on top and looking to strike. She slips over to the back. She wants the choke. She’s a little high, but she adjusts. Arm wraps around the neck, and Carnelossi torques the body as she squeezes with a Gable grip. Nunes has to tap.

Danaa Batgerel vs. Brandon Davis

Round 1 – Batgerel takes the center as Davis moves laterally on the outside. Both men looking to box early. Batgerel lands the first big shot, and Davis keels over before standing back up. Davis not looking especially comfortable early. Batgerel left hand landing frequently. Big right comes behind it. Another right sends Davis crashing to the canvas. He somehow crawls back up, but Batgerel is swarming. Punches coming in bunches. Davis turtles and then tries to stand. Batgerel isn’t stopping. More punches come in, and referee Herb Dean calls it off. Tough return for Davis.

Luana Carolina vs. Loopy Godinez

Round 1 – The taller Carolina wants to use range early, but Godinez punches her way forward and presses the action to the fence. Carolina battling against the cage and looking to stay upright. She briefly pulls free and lands a knee and an elbow inside. Godinez quick to clinch again. She needs this fight on the floor. Carolina staying upright, but Godinez does slip around to the back. Carolina able to turn and face inside, and she pulls away. Back to the center. Carolina flashes out a front kick from range. Godinez quickly back to the clinch. She changes levels and pulls Carolina to a seated position. Carolina to a knee and looks for a sweep, but Godinez rolls with it and lands on top, immediately in side control with 90 seconds left. Carolina holding tight underneath. Godinez with a few elbows to the body. Godinez switches to north-south to secure the right arm. She rolls to the armbar at the bell but can’t quite get it in time. Methodical work there on top. MMA Junkie gives the first to Godinez, 10-9.

Round 2 – Carolina with a low stance as she looks to strike. Godinez cautious as she makes her way inside, but she does get to the clinch. Carolina able to push her away and reset. Carolina not pulling the trigger as she’s on the feet. Godinez ducks and lands a left hand. She keeps driving forward and is able to get to the clinch once again. Carolina again defends well and is able to push her away. Carolina with a kick, and Godinez latches on to the leg. She wants the takedown but can’t get it. Carolina punches the head a few times, forcing Godinez to adjust. Carolina eventually able to pull away. Carolina with a few low kicks, and she punches down the middle, as well. Godinez fakes a takedown and lands a nice right hand. Godinez trying to push forward, but Carolina doing a much better job keeping her away and landing punches. Into the final minute. Godinez lands a right hand and gets inside on a leg, but Carolina able to keep her balance and drive in punches as she defends. Godinez backs away, and we finish on the feet. MMA Junkie gives it to Carolina, 10-9.

Round 3 – Godinez needs to get inside, but Carolina preventing that at the moment. Godinez rushes forward and makes her way to the clinch. Carolina defends well, but Godinez adjusts and nearly slips to the back. Carolina using the cage to prevent the pass. Brief trip, but Carolina is immediately back on the feet and drives in a few knees as she defends. She pulls away and moves back to the center. Carolina looking to strike and has a high kick blocked. She kicks low. Godinez moves forward and lands a few big punches and is then inside on the clinch again. Carolina defends and spins off the cage, but Godinez ducks under and is again trying to take the back. Carolina using the cage to prevent that, and she’s trying to turn inside. Godinez can’t get it, and she backs away with a minute remaining. Godinez lands a right hand. She ducks under a high kick and is again inside on the takedown. Carolina spins off the and lands a knee. They separate again in the final seconds. Godinez catches a kick and presses to the end for the takedown. Close round. MMA Junkie leans toward Carolina, 10-9, awarding her the fight 29-28.

Ramazan Emeev vs. Danny Roberts

Round 1 – Roberts moving laterally on the outside and kicks low. He goes high, but it’s blocked. Emeev patient to start. He misses a lead hook. Second one lands. Sharp low kick for Roberts countered over the top. Both men moving well to start, seeking angles. Roberts seems a little bit quicker, but Emeev drops down and is quickly inside to drag his opponent to a seated position. Roberts trying to scramble back to his feet, but Emeev drives him to the floor. Roberts gets the left leg on the shoulder. He tries to set up a triangle and then looks for the arm. Not there, and Emeev slides past the legs, but Roberts scrambles up to his feet and pulls away to reset. Roberts again with a high kick that misses. Punches traded. Roberts moves inside for a takedown, but Emeev grabs the neck. Roberts pulls it free. Big punches traded at the end. Close round, but MMA Junkie leans toward Emeev, 10-9.

Round 2 – Emeev a little more aggressive to start, firing out some punches and driving forward for a takedown. Roberts up to the challenge early on, but Emeev drives him to the cage. Briefly to the canvas, but Roberts pops right back to his feet and starts throwing big punches. Emeev covers well and wraps the body. He slips around to the back. Roberts trying to break the grip, and he is able to turn inside and then grab a brief Thai clinch before pulling away. Roberts lands a quick punch but is then defending in the clinch again. He backs off, but Emeev changes levels and drives it to the floor. Roberts again active from his back and nearly takes hold of a crucifix. Tricky moments from Roberts, but Emeev is able to spin through and control the neck for a moment. Roberts rolls through it and moves back to his feet. He misses on a big left, and Roberts looking for the takedown. Emeev defends and recovers. Spinning shot from Emeev before Roberts clinches him again. Nothing there, so he backs away. Emeev with a nice shot before another clinch. Another close round, but MMA Junkie leans toward Emeev, 10-9.

Round 3 – Roberts moves forward quickly and wants to strike. Emeev does a good job of avoiding an initial rush and is able to clinch, but he can’t do anything with it. Roberts moves forward and digs to the body but allows Emeev to push him to the cage. Roberts pushes off and lands a few knees inside. He creates enough space to rip off a few punches that land clean. Emeev quickly wraps him up again. Roberts dealing well with the clinch and backs away. He’s landing in tight. Emeev fires a high kick that’s blocked. He shoots, but Roberts stuffs it. Roberts gaining some momentum, but Emeev keeping him tight. Under two minutes. Emeev grabs a clinch and drives it to the fence again. Roberts spins off and then pulls back for a few punches. He lands, but he also lets himself fall back into the clinch. Emeev can’t hold him there. They split with less than a minute. Roberts rolling well and lands a right hand. Emeev trying to grapple, but Roberts pulls free and keeps striking. MMA Junkie gives the final round to Roberts, 10-9, but awards the fight to Emeev, 29-28. Opening rounds were close, so we’ll see.

Andrew Sanchez vs. Bruno Silva

Round 1 – Sanchez light on his feet and faking entries. Silva stalking and unleashes a barrage of big punches inside. Sanchez covers well and pulls away. Silva with a nice low kick. He throws a big right, but Sanchez able to slip under it and grab a leg and battle his way to the floor. Silva in a seated position against the fence, but Sanchez drags him flat to the canvas. Half-guard for Silva, and he quickly sits up again. Sanchez continues adjusting and drags him flat again. Silva refusing to stay there, and he gets his back to the fence again. Sanchez brings him to the floor again. This time Silva starts ripping off elbows from his back. Sanchez has to slide up to address those and then lands a few of his own. Sanchez postures to punch, and Silva scrambles to his feet. One minute left. Silva tries to slip away but can’t. Sanchez firing knees and lands one to the groin. Referee Keith Peterson calls for a break. Silva says he’s OK, and we restart. Silva fires a high kick, and Sanchez throws a side kick that lands again to the cup. We take a brief break before continuing on with just a few seconds left. Round ends, and MMA Junkie gives it to Sanchez, 10-9.

Round 2 – Quick start, and Sanchez throws out that sidekick before slipping a big front kick. Sanchez slips around to the back and lifts Silva into the air but can’t get the big takedown. He tries again and drives Silva to his knees. Silva stands, and Sanchez stays tight to him and knees the legs. Sanchez drags him to the floor, but Silva lands a huge punch from his back that seems to stun Sanchez. Silva sees it and starts firing more shots, but Sanchez recovers and regains control from the top. Silva works to his feet again and turns inside. Sanchez spins with him and is able to slam the action to the floor, despite a cage grab from Silva. Sanchez can’t keep the fight down, and Silva stands once again. Sanchez relentless though. Another takedown, and he sets up on top. Half-guard for Silva. Sanchez not getting to do a lot of damage in this position. Silva is just relentless in his effort to escape. He gets to the feet, but Sanchez lifts him and slams him once again. Silva to his knees and then stands, but he can’t break the grip. Another takedown in the final minute. Silva with a few more strikes from his back, but Sanchez returns fire. Sanchez pulls free in the final seconds to wing a few punches at the bell. MMA Junkie gives it to Sanchez, 10-9.

Round 3 – Silva comes out firing, but Sanchez answers with an uppercut and then slips away. Silva with a few big punches to the body. He’s aggressive again. Sanchez lands to the groin again in an exchange, and Peterson deducts a point before we start again. Sanchez thinks takedown on the restart but can’t get it. Silva pressing and lands two stiff punches. Sanchez covers. Those hurt. Silva with a few big shots that land, and Sanchez is fading. Silva punching up top and kicks to the body. Sanchez leaning against the fence and trying to counter. He clinches and tries for a foot sweep. Not there. Silva pulls away and is swarming. He’s landing punches against the cage. Sanchez is trying to hang on. Flurry of shots landing. Sanchez trying to survive. Silva keeps punches, and Peterson steps in to call it off just before Sanchez falls to the canvas.

Ludovit Klein vs. Nate Landwehr

Round 1 – Landwehr with his hands high. Klein pops out a jab and kicks the legs. Landwehr has a kick blocked. Klein in the center, and Landwehr moving left. Klein lands to the body with a kick. Landwehr staying on the outside for now. Klein lands with a big knee to the body. Landwehr pushes him to the fence. Klein able to circle off the fence, but only briefly. They battle in tight before Klein pulls away. Klein continues with kicks to the body. He throws a combination down the middle. Landwehr surprisingly low-volume right now. Klein kicks to the body again. One minute left. Low kicks traded. Klein scores with two punches. Landwehr comes alive in the final seconds and lands a flurry of punches and a few knees before the bell, but MMA Junkie gives it to Klein, 10-9.

Round 2 – Klein lands clean with a combination and another kick. Landwehr retreats and then tries to clinch. He ties things up and pushes it to the fence. Landwehr with a few knees inside. Klein trying to dig underhooks but can’t get free. Landwehr finally lets go and lands a crisp punch inside, and we reset. Back to the center, and Klein rifling off punches. Landwehr starts swinging back, and it’s a firefight. Klein wants a takedown, but Landwehr stuffs him and makes him pay with a few big knees. Klein takes a knee to get the protection of being downed, and Landwehr grabs the neck. He’s look for the anaconda, but Klein is able to survive it and move back to the feet with 90 seconds left. Klein misses a big kick over the top. Landwehr scores with a right hand. Landwehr scores with a few more big punches. High kick blocked. Landwehr with punches inside. Elbow. Klein answers back as he’s against the fence. Klein battling, but Landwehr has some momentum. They end with Landwehr teeing off, and MMA Junkie gives him the round, 10-9.

Round 3 – Klein takes the center and scores with a jab. Landwehr high kick blocked. He jumps forward and lands a right hand. Klein swings back. Klein scores with a nice left hand. Landwehr moves forward with punches. Landwehr tries for the knee, but Klein catches it and drives forward for the takedown. Heavy hip for Landwehr allow him to stay upright and then push the action down. Landwehr again grabs the neck and sets in the squeeze, and this time Klein is trapped and has to tap to the anaconda. Slick work.

Manon Fiorot vs. Mayra Bueno Silva

Round 1 – Bueno Silva with a few early low kicks as Fiorot reaches over with punches. Fiorot kick the lead leg and then rips off a few quick punches down the middle. Fiorot side kick to the body. Fiorot firing punches up top and more side kick to the body. Bueno Silva with a big kick to the body, and she’s keeping her hands high to defends the flurries. Bueno Silva kicks the leg. Fiorot punching away, and Bueno Silva covering and shaking her head, insisting none of it is getting through. Bueno Silva tags the leg gain. Fiorot side kick pushes Bueno Silva to the floor, but she gets up smiling. Bueno Silva covering well with her hands, though the side kick certainly landing. Bueno Silva trying to attack the leg as often as possible. Bueno Silva kicks to the body, as well. Fiorot continues to punch up top, but Bueno Silva defending well. Under a minute, and Fiorot drives under a punch and scores the takedown. She postures up to punche, and Bueno Silva inverts to attack the leg. Fiorot spins out but finishes on her back. MMA Junkie gives it to Fiorot, 10-9.

Round 2 – Fiorot immediately on the attack with punches. A right hand lands. She shoots from range, but Bueno Silva stuffs it and tries to control the neck. Fiorot pops her head out, but Bueno Silva maintains the clinch. Brief timeout for a clothing adjustment, and we start again in the clinch. Fiorot is on the outside. Bueno Silva with an overhook on the left and is landing short punches with the right hand, but nothing there, referee Chris Tognoni breaks them apart. Fiorot aggressive on the restart. She does find the body, which has been wide open. Bueno Silva trying to swing back. She’s walking forward and continues to shake off each flurry. Fiorot very busy with her hands, but she’s not going to the body, and Bueno Silva is covering well. Bueno Silva taunting, putting her hands behind her back. They clinch briefly, but Fiorot pulls away after landing a right hand. Fiorot continues to score with the side kick to the body. Bueno Silva with two chopping blows to the lead leg. Bueno Silva taunting as she blocks and defends, but she’s not finding may opportunities to counter. Fiorot high kick lands. They trade kicks to the body. Bueno Silva with a big flurry to close. MMA Junkie gives it again to Fiorot, 10-9.

Round 3 – Fiorot still bouncing on her toes and comes out swinging. Bueno Silva lands a nice jab, and she kicks the leg again. Fiorot blocks a high kick. Fiorot continues to throw heavy punches, and some of them are getting through. She moves to the clinch and lifts Bueno Silva into the air before slamming her to the canvas. Bueno Silva in half-guard. Fiorot postures up and lands a few big strikes. Bueno Silva switches to butterfly guard. Bueno Silva move spast the legs. She wants the back and lands a few big punches. Bueno Silva stands, and Bueno Silva clips her with an upkick. Mouthpieces coms out, and Fiorot backs away. Time to replace that. Bueno Silva pressing forward on the restart. Fiorot with a flying knee. Elbows inside. Bueno Silva still trying to taunt, but her nose is bloodied now, and she’s taking some damage. They clinch, and Bueno Silva holding an overhook and landing a few knees inside. Fiorot answers with her own knees but can’t pull free. Tognoni breaks them again with less than a minute. Fiorot still firing big punches. Bueno Silva grabs the Thai clinch and fires with a flying knee that misses. Bueno Silva pushing. Bueno Silva still swinging. They trade until the end. MMA Junkie gives it again to Fiorot, 10-9, awarding her the fight 30-27.

Erick Gonzalez vs. Jim Miller

Round 1 – Gonzalez fires a right hand and a snapping front kick. Miller chops at the leg. He fires a high kick and then clinches, driving the action to the fence. Gonzalez battles his way off the fence and wraps the body, driving the action to the canvas. Miller gets full guard, but Gonzalez backs away, and we return to the feet. Gonzalez fires out a few huge punches and lands clean. Miller is hurt, and he wobbles forward, but he’s able to drive the action to the canvas once again. Tense moments for the veteran there. Gonzalez has full guard. Miller postures up, and Gonzalez working to hold tight. Miller postures, and Gonzalez gets his legs inside and kicks away, and we’re back to the feet. Gonzalez with a stiff uppercut. He’ firing heavy punches again. Miller scores with a big left hand. One minute left. Gonzalez front kick, but Miller with another left hand. Gonzalez is stunned a bit. Miller walking forward now. They clinch. Miller lets go at the end to rattle off a flurry. MMA Junkie gives it to Miller on the late work, 10-9.

Round 2 – Gonzalez reaching with punches, and Miller catches him with a counter. Gonzalez misses with a kick, and Miller lands a left hand right on the button. Gonzalez falls, and he’s out. Miller sneaks in a few extra shots before Mark Smith can step in. Big knockout.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Carlos Felipe

Round 1 – Arlovski set sup in the center and has a high kick blocked. He goes to the lead leg. Felipe misses a pair of punches. Arlovski chops the leg again. He slips another right hand. Felipe goes to the body. Arlovski to the leg again, and then a big kick to the body. Felipe just short on a right hand. Arlovski still working the legs. Felipe kicks the body and misses a big right hand. Arlovski switching stances as Felipe gets closer and fires big overhands. Felipe waves Arlovski in to brawl. Arlovski does land a right hand, but he’s trying to keep range. Another right hand comes in from range. Left scores. Right hand for Arlovski, and a high kick is blocked. Felipe leaps in with a right, and they briefly clinch. Felipe trying to get in close, but Arlovski turns and jogs back out to the center. Both miss on huge right hands. Arlovski back to the legs. Arlovski lands a nice right hand. Tense moments in the big exchanges. Arlovski to the leg again. Round ends, and MMA Junkie gives it to Arlovski, 10-9.

Round 2 – Felipe moving forward a little more aggressively now. He back Arlovski to the fence and lands a right to the body. Arlovski flurries, and Felipe asks him for more. Felipe does land with a right hand, but Arlovski answers back with a jab. Arlovski sticking and moving. Felipe wants to brawl in the pocket. Arlovski ducking big right hands. Felipe throwing with big power. Spinning backfist for Arlovski. He slips from a few big punches. Felipe having trouble finding the mark. He kicks the lead leg. Arlovski does the same. Arlovski punching his way off the fence, but Felipe is much more active. Uppercut for Arlovski. Right hand scores for him. Felipe goes to the body. Arlovski complains of an eye poke, but we carry on. Another one scoresFelipe misses a flying knee. They trade punches right at the bell. Better round for Felipe, but MMA Junkie still leans Arlovski, 10-9.

Round 3 – Felipe comes out swinging. Arlovski backs away. Felipe keeps pushing. Arlovski complains of an eye poke. Referee Herb Dena doesn’t call it but does ask for replay officials to take a look. They say it was a closed fist. Felipe pushing now. He digs to the body. Arlovski back to the jab. Felipe slowing a bit. Arlovski maintains the jab. Felipe pushing. He lands, and Arlovski drops. Felipe pounces and is trying to get the finish. Arlovski covers and stands. He’s back on his feet and holding the clinch. Less than two minutes, and they break. Arlovski rifling off the jab. Felipe with another big right. Another scores, but he’s tired, too, and he can’t follow. Arlovski jabs and moves to the clinch. Nothing there. Felipe misses a huge right hand as we go to the final minute. Both men are exhausted. Arlovski hanging on, but referee Herb Dena breaks them with 30 seconds left. FelipeX taunts a bit and asks for a brawl. They trade at the end and then both raise their arms in victory. MMA Junkie gives the final round to Felipe, 10-9, but awards the fight to Arlovski, 29-28. Comes down to the second.

Aspen Ladd vs. Norma Dumont

Round 1 – Dumont pumps her jab. She’s landing with it early. Ladd with a counter left. Ladd keeping her head moving as she looks to advance. Dumont content to retreat and pumps the jab for now. Dumont fires in a right hand. The jab lands again. Ladd with her hands high, but the Dumont jab has been effective early. Dumont again slips in the right hand. Dumont at perfect range and landing the jab at will. Ladd yet to really push forward. Two minutes left. Ladd combination is short. Dumont’s jab is quick, and she’s confident with it. Less than a minute. Left lands for Ladd, and Dumont smiles. Dumont continues with the jab until the bell. MMA Junkie gives it to Dumont, 10-9.

Round 2 – Ladd with her hands high and still moving her head, but Dumont finds her with the jab. Dumont just staying at range and pumping the jab over and over, and it’s working. Ladd does land a left hand counter. Two minutes into the round, and Ladd finally rushes forward. She gets tot eh clinch and puts the action against the fence. Dumont defending well against the cage, and she’s able to slip free and back to the center after a little work. Similar feel once we’re back to the middle. Dumont just using the jab to perfection. She’s not adding much behind it, but so far she doesn’t really need to. Ladd just can’t seem to get going. Under a minute. Ladd trying to walk forward, but Dumont is just jabbing and moving. Dumont kicks the leg. She fires two punches at the bell. MMA Junkie gives it again to Dumont, 10-9.

Round 3 – Ladd has to start pressing. Her corner is begging her to throw in combinations and move forward. Dumont keeping her away with the jab. Ladd’s corner begging her to use more punches. Ladd shoots from range, but Dumont defends with ease. Dumont back to the jab. Right hand comes behind it. Ladd walks forward and is tagged with two crisp punches. Ladd moves forward and wraps the body and drives to the fence. Dumont with a wide stance as she defends against a takedown. She’s able to spin off the cage and slip away, and Ladd can’t hold on. Ladd trying to press, but Dumont is just teeing off on her. The jab continues to be her main weapon, but she’s scoring some other shots, as well. Ladd tries to press inside, but no luck. Dumont in complete control right now. Dumont with a right hand at the bell. MMA Junkie gives it again to Dumont, 10-9.

Round 4 – Ladd moves out quickly and walks through a few punches to grab the body. She wants a single, but Dumont defending well. Ladd switches to a double, but it’s not there. Ladd adjusts to wrap the body as Dumont digs underhooks, and they battle against the cage. Dumont turns off the cage and drives in a knee before pulling away. Ladd’s frustration is clear. Dumont brimming with confidence as show moves, switching stances and jabbing. Dumont scores with a right hand. Ladd’s corner absolutely yelling at her to be first. They clinch, and it’s Dumont that’s able to drive forward and score a takedown. Ladd on her back. She turns to her hips but can’t get free. Ladd settles to guard. Final minute, and Ladd able to sweep to the top. She postures and punches, but she’s going to run out of time. Knee shield from Dumont, and Ladd punches until the end. Despite the late surge, MMA Junkie gives it again to Dumont, 10-9.

Round 5 – Ladd has to do something special here. She rushes forward and wraps the body. Dumont battling for hand position. Ladd desperate to hang on. Ladd trying anything to hang on. She’s switching grips to stay engaged. She does get Dumont pinned to the fence. She works in a few punches here and there, but it’s not meaningful. Dumont defending against the fence as time winds down. Ladd holding on and hoping to get a takedown, but it’s just not coming. Dumont content to ride things out here, just grinding away in the clinch while she’s clearly ahead on the cards. Right hand for Ladd in the final minute. Dumont sneaks in a knee. More knees to close. Ladd punches at the end. MMA Junkie gives the final round to Ladd, 10-9, but awards the fight to Dumont, 49-46.
